Michelle L. Taylor, Diversity Procurement Director along with Cummins Government Relations Manager, Traci Kraus and Jennifer Cave, Director Government Relations at Van Scoyoc Associates Inc. (VSA) shared Cummins diversity procurement and small business journey.
Michelle collaborated with Traci Kraus, Cummins’ Government Relations Manager in Washington, D.C., and Jennifer Cave, Director of Government Relations at Van Scoyoc Associates Inc., to present details about Cummins’ diversity procurement initiatives and small business journey.
Taylor had the opportunity to talk with legislative staff members for Indiana Senators Joe Donnelly and Dan Coats, and Representatives Luke Messer and Todd Young. This group met in the Longworth Building on Capitol Hill.
Taylor also had the opportunity to conduct a highly impactful meeting with Debbie Korbin, Professional Staff Member for the Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
Cummins has been rooted in offering various small business initiatives for over 30 years. These recent meetings were important to Cummins efforts to further support their continued work in this area. Cummins suppliers also discussed how they are being used utilized in each district they are related too.

Jennifer Cave assists Cummins and other clients with national security issues. Her responsibilities include engaging congressional and agency staff on client issues, providing clients with timely information about Federal policy activities and appropriations and assisting in business development.
Traci Kraus, Government Relations Manager, is the lead lobbyist for Cummins' Technology, Military, and Power Generation business units. She focuses on energy, environment, transportation and budget legislative and regulatory issues.
